Practical things, briefly.
Getting there
Lisbon airport (LIS) is 15 minutes by taxi or Uber. Do not hire a car: parking in Principe Real is impossible and you will not need one. Trams, funiculars and good shoes are enough.
The food
Breakfast at the house. For dinner, O Velho Eurico for petiscos and a long evening, Cervejaria Ramiro for the shellfish (go early), A Cevicheria for the tasting menu (book), Comoba for the brunch crowd at the weekend.
Worth doing
Walk from Principe Real through Chiado and down to the river, slowly. The Saturday market at LX Factory. Sunset at Miradouro de Santa Catarina with a beer from the kiosk. The 28 tram to Belem for the cakes and the cloister.
The detail
Open year round. 9 rooms, a roof terrace the owners would rather you did not photograph for social media. No parking. Portuguese spoken with fluent English.
